All i want is to be in the light...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MS YAHUI! :D MAY GOD BLESS!
Went to help out at the GO Forth conference for this past two days! Today and yesterday. Super cool. Made alot of new friends like Priscilla, Amanda and got to know more people better. :D Really nice!
Okay, i shall start from Wednesday!
Wednesday
Met Gloria at noon. Took bus 857 to Suntec Convention halls. Was super excited over what i was going to do. :D So anyway! Reached, met Juanita, Susanna and Ashley. Went upstairs to see which hall we got to usher. First workshop - Me and Huey. :D Second workshop - Amanda, Me, and Auntie ---. Forgot. Oops! :D
So anyway! Had lunch first, then had briefing for ushering duties. Then EUNICE came during lunch! :D
Then i went to hall 304 with Huey. I LOVE ushering duties! I get to see people's smiley faces! And they're all always smiling and all that with us usherers! But although some of them, probably in a bad mood, like, wasn't really SMILING. :D And i hate people who don't smile. Kidding la. :D
Anyway, i joined in the conference, and it was way cool. I went to the India one, by the way!And it wasn't as bad as i'd imagined. Like, I DIDN'T FALL ASLEEP! Big accomplishment. :D I'm so proud of myself! :D And i learnt some things concerning the Dalits who live in India, and some other stuff about the other religions in India. I learnt alot of new stuff! :D
Then had 15 minutes break. So i went down to hall 303. Just beside each other! I didn't really enjoy the second workshop. I didn't quite understand alot of things that they were talking about. And they were one of the few sensitive groups. But they were talking about the Water people, they lived in China, and they are one of the poorest country in the WHOLE NATION! So NOT fair. Why can't we all be equal? Whatever.
So anyway, after workshop 2, we went upstairs for sort of dinner. Well, they all went already la, since mine ended late. Then i went to find them downstairs. Talked to Eunice and Gloria for while, had FUN(!), and then we went up for briefing of collection of donations. :D
So we went inside to be appointed to our collection places. Then 4 of us, Sam, Eunice, Gloria and me sneaked out to eat the EEL. Yuck. What an experience. I haven't eaten eel before. And i don't know how it actually tastes like. OHOH! And then, after we ate, Gloria blocked Sam from going out. Then he tried the other side, then Gloria dashed there. haha! Then Eunice took a chair to block the exit, and then took another one to block the other side, then we ran back. haha. Leaving Sam behind! Then we hid behind the stairs that side la, then we saw him coming! So he dashed in front of us. Shock leh! :D But cool.
SO ANYWAY. After collection, we went home. Not really able to stay for the whole thing.
But after the thing, we went to eat TOM YAM NOODLES leh! Me, Yahui, Eunice and Gloria! haha. Then we laughed and choked like crazy. And it was SO spicy, we all like, almost choked la. Then Yahui said a funny joke, then Eunice spat out everything. :P SO cool. SO MUCH FUN!
But we didn't go home la! Me, Gloria and Eunice went to take a cab because Eunice wasn't feeling very well(THANK GOD SHE FELT BETTER LATER). She dropped us off at Bugis, then she continued the journey home. :D
We ate Mcfluffy. What else?
Came home, packed my luggage, bathed, went to sleep.
Today
Woke up kinda early in the morning. Had to dress formally, don't really have any formal clothings, so i just dressed normally, which was considered as formal already la!
But anyway. Reached at 7.25am. Waited for Gloria for 35 mins. No apprecation whatsoever. Anyway(:D), saw Juanita they all la. After putting our bags in the room, we went to do ushering duties for the first service. Some of the people were REALLY kind! They said Good Morning. No biggy deal, but, BASIC COURTESY! :D After doing duties, we went for the service, i felt REALLY sleepy then. Because didn't sleep well last night la, so, yeah, you understand!
Anyway, after that session, we went to the booths downstairs. I'm SERIOUSLY afraid of Suntec City's escalators. Especially the one connecting the 4th and 6th floor. It's super high, and when i look down, my legs wobble like crazy. :D
Anyway, got to visit alot of exhibits. And collected alot of brochures. :D
So anyway! After that, we went to the reception counter, then Eunice came! So after that, we didn't know what to do, so we decided to go to the children's side downstairs, 4th floor, actually. And they were doing this really COOL Flipper Flapper thing. So jealous. I didn't get to do that la! It was super cool. But, i don't know how to describe it here now leh. :D
Anyway! After that, we and ANTEE Florence came up, then we went inside for the second service. Didn't feel sleepy though! The preacher was SO entertaining. Not as good as Pastor Sam though. :D But! He made good jokes!
SO! After session, we went for lunch, then same thing. And Eunice can really do a SUPER good NERD pose. haha! She tucked in her polo tee, then she buttoned up, used her tag as a tie. Then she straightened up her hair. HAHA! SO CUTE. :D
Then we went for workshop duties! First workshop - me and Nathaniel(Nat), Second with Maureen! :D
First workshop, didn't listen! Although i'm really interested in the Cambodia one. :D But they were like, totally irrelevant to the topic of, CAMBODIA! So i skipped it. :P
Then i chatted with Eunice and Gloria outside. Saw two CUTE CUTE little babies! :D
Then it was the second workshop. Same room. There were quite alot of people as it concerns stuff like business. :D Super high tech type. OF COURSE i didn't join! I'd definitely sleep for this la!
So i went out with Gloria and Eunice again. Didn't talk with them. OH OH. And i met this 9 years old girl named Valentina, she was super pretty and adorable, she lent me her ARCHIE comic book! Paiseh after what happened. :P So i read her comic book, was quite quiet during the whole time, then Eunice, Gloria and Valentina played games. And i just read my book! :D
Then we had to pack up and stuff. So we reached upstairs. Finish stuff, left Suntec. Bought two pieces of cakes for my mum and auntie. :D Love them.
Came home feeling kind of tired.
OH YAY! I'M GOING TO CHINA, CHENGDU TOMORROW! YAY! Miss me! :D Kidding!
